Details:The residents wanted to retain the authentic features and at the same time save on the purchase of new window frames. Thanks to the small thickness of BENGglas of only 8.3 mm, which fits perfectly in the existing window frames, BENGglas proved to be the ideal solution. With a rebate height of only 10 mm, the space was limited, but by applying a subtle layer of sealant, the absorption strip could be nicely concealed. The window frames were then neatly painted. The result? Stylish steel window frames without visible absorption strip and sealing edges. The residents are enthusiastic about the improved thermal and sound insulation. What used to make the music on the radio audible outside is now a thing of the past.
