As the primary gateway to the hospital, the outpatient lobby’s lighting directly impacts the patient experience and the institution's overall image. The sunlight roof upgrade project at the First People’s Hospital of Chengdu strictly adheres to medical architectural standards, balancing functionality, safety, energy efficiency, and human-centric design to create a comfortable and secure public space for both patients and staff.

The core of this project involved a comprehensive replacement and upgrade of the outpatient lobby’s sunlight roof. By optimizing the structural design and material selection, natural light utilization has been significantly improved, effectively reducing artificial lighting energy consumption and enhancing the indoor lighting environment.

The project utilized LandVac Titanium Vacuum Insulated Glass with a high-performance configuration (6TL+0.3V+5T+1.52P+5T). This configuration ensures superior light transmission and energy efficiency, while meeting the rigorous structural strength and safety requirements for medical public spaces, perfectly adapting to the hospital's specific needs.

This renovation has not only brought brighter and more transparent natural light into the outpatient lobby but has also created a warm and secure environment for patients, further enhancing the hospital's modernized service quality and commitment to human-centric care.
